\nEven more famous than the museum of the same name in New York City, the surrealist architecture of the Guggenheim in Spain is as much of a talking piece as the work it houses. This futuristic structure showcases modern art and American sculptures that span the early 20th century to the present time. \nThe Louvre is arguably the world’s most famous museum, thanks to a couple of its most widely known pieces: The Mona Lisa and the Venus De Milo. \nWhile many prefer London’s majestic British Museum for its expansive Egyptian gallery, The National Gallery offers something most of these famous museums do not: free admission! \nWith over 3 million works of art, the six-building Hermitage Museum is the largest in the world and the most famous in Russia.
